Neymar injures his ankle in Brazil's opening match at 2022 World Cup

PSG and Brazil forward Neymar was injured in Brazil's 2-0 start against Serbia at the World Cup in Qatar.

During one of the clashes Neymar twisted his leg and was substituted in the 79th minute of the match.

After the game, the Brazilian national team's medical staff reported that the 30-year-old had injured his ankle. The photo shows that the Brazilian's ankle is swollen. It's not yet known how long it will take to recover.

Brazil will face Switzerland in the second round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar. The match will take place at the 974 Stadium on November 28, beginning at 19:00 GMT +3.
