Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba revealed that he spoke with Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe before joining the club. Mbappe had previously played for Monaco.
He also consulted with other former Monaco players, Benjamin Mendy and Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The 32-year-old Frenchman signed a contract with Monaco until June 30, 2027.
Pogba has not played since September 2023. In February 2024, he was banned for four years due to violations of anti-doping regulations.
