The official website of La Liga reported that 28-year-old Brazilian striker of Barcelona Raphinha was recognized as the best player of the past season in the Spanish championship.
He played 36 matches in the league. During this time he scored 18 goals and made 9 assists. In the voting Raphinha ended up ahead of his teammates Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski and Pedri.
He also beat Real Madrid players Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, as well as Betis midfielder Isco and Atletico midfielder Oihan Sancet
Raphinha has been playing for the Blues since July 2022. Overall he played 144 matches for the club, scored 54 goals and made 50 assists.
Earlier, Raphinha said that he will be forever grateful to the head coach of the Catalans Hansi Flick.
