Marca reports Real Madrid legend Raúl González, formerly in charge of the club’s youth team, is being considered as a potential head coach for Bayer Leverkusen.
Leverkusen have added Raúl to their shortlist of candidates. Also under consideration are Borussia Dortmund’s current coach Edin Terzić and former RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose.
Dutch coach Erik ten Hag, who took charge of Bayer in May, was sacked after just two Bundesliga rounds.
Earlier reports said Bayer Leverkusen set a new Bundesliga record for spending in a single transfer window.
