Real Madrid is nearing an agreement to sign 16-year-old midfielder Franco Mastantuono from the Argentine club River Plate, as reported by Sport.es.
It is said that the Madrid club has already reached an agreement on the terms of the player's personal contract. Mastantuono will not be able to join the team until next year when he turns 18.
The young midfielder has been playing for River Plate's first team since the beginning of 2024. His a contract with the Buenos Aires club that runs until December 31, 2026. According to Transfermarkt, Mastantuono's market value is estimated to be 10 million euros.
