
Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti will step down after the Matchday 35 La Liga game against Barcelona, scheduled for May 11.
Insider Fabrizio Romano reported that an official announcement regarding Ancelotti’s departure will be made after this match.
Prior reports indicated interest from the Brazil national team, which is seeking a new head coach ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Additionally, Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal is interested in the Italian coach’s services.
Barcelona currently lead the La Liga standings with 79 points, while Real Madrid hold second place with 75 points.
