Al‑Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo played a key role in the transfer of Bayern forward Kingsley Coman to the Saudi club, BILD reports.
The 40‑year‑old Portuguese pushed for the signing of the 29‑year‑old Frenchman, saying he wanted to play alongside him. That support prompted the club’s leadership to accelerate work on the deal.
Coman’s transfer to Al‑Nassr will amount to €35 million. He is set to sign a three‑year contract.
