Portugal captain and forward Cristiano Ronaldo, in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, shared his opinion on whether a World Cup victory should define the greatest footballer in history.
According to Ronaldo, winning the World Cup is not his dream.

Ronaldo has represented Portugal since 2003. With the national team, he won UEFA Euro 2016 and the UEFA Nations League in 2019 and 2025. At the 2022 World Cup, Portugal was eliminated by Morocco (0-1) in the quarterfinals.
The current world champions are Argentina, who defeated France in the 2022 World Cup final via a penalty shootout (3-3, 4-2 on penalties) under manager Lionel Scaloni.
