Serbian team lost 2-3 to Switzerland at 2022 World Cup in Qatar

The Serbian national team lost to the Swiss national team in the third round of the group stage match of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, which took place on December 2.

The score in the meeting was opened on 20 minutes. Midfielder of the Swiss team Xherdan Shaqiri scored. 26 minutes into the match, Serbian forward Aleksandar Mitrović evened the score. 35 minutes into the match, Serbian forward Dušan Vlahović drove his team ahead.

44 minutes into the match, forward Breel Embolo evened the score again. 48 minutes into the match, Switzerland took the lead thanks to a goal scored by Remo Freuler. The Swiss won the second place in the group with six points. Serbia with one point is the last in the group.

Serbia v Switzerland - 2-3 (2-2, 0-1).
