South African Footballer Zondi Dies After Losing Consciousness During Warm-Up

Sinamandla Zondi, a footballer for the South African club Durban City, has sadly passed away in the hospital after collapsing during a national league match.

The defender lost consciousness on April 22 during a match in the second-tier South African division against Milford. The 22-year-old was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he could not be saved.

In a statement published by L'Equipe, Durban City expressed condolences to Zondi's family, friends, teammates, coaches, and all those affected by this tragic loss. The club assured that they will continue to provide support during this difficult time.
