Luciano Spalletti, who recently left the post of head coach of the Italian national team, may soon resume his coaching career. This is reported by insider Alfredo Pedulla.
According to the source, the Saudi club Al-Nassr, where Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo plays, offered the coach a two-year contract with a salary of 18 million euros a year.
It is noted that Luciano Spalletti has not yet given an answer to this proposal.
If the former Italy coach accepts the offer, he will succeed his compatriot Stefano Pioli, who is rumored to head Fiorentina, as head coach of Al-Nassr.
Al-Nassr finished third in the Saudi Arabian league with 70 points. The team was 13 points behind the tournament champion, Al-Ittihad.
Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo said that he plans to stay at Al-Nassr.
In related news, the director of the Saudi team Fernando Hierro confirmed that the club is in active negotiations with the 40-year-old Portuguese striker about his future in the team.
