Recently, UEFA's official website announced a meeting involving representatives from CONMEBOL, UEFA, the Argentine Football Association (AFA), and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), which took place in Asunción, the capital of Paraguay. The agenda included organizational matters related to the 2026 Finalissima.
It is worth noting that the Argentine team is not only the current champion of South America and the world but also the 2022 Finalissima winner, having defeated Italy, the Euro 2020 champion, with a score of 3-0 at Wembley Stadium in London.
The Finalissima is a tournament aimed at expanding cooperation between UEFA and CONMEBOL.
