Popular blogger and boxer Jake Paul stated that he will enter the rankings of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Council (WBC) if he defeats Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on June 29 in Anaheim, USA.
Jake Paul
My goal is to become world champion and the WBA and WBC plan on ranking me depending on my performance. And once I'm ranked I can go for the title shot. He's a formidable opponent, former world champion, it's a great, test ten rounds to get ready for what will ultimately be a world championship fight one day.
His last fight was in November 2024, where he won against Mike Tyson by unanimous decision. He holds a record of 11 wins (seven by knockout) and one loss.
Chavez last stepped into the ring against former UFC fighter Uriah Hall in July 2024, where the fight went the distance and ended in his favor by unanimous decision. He has a record of 54 wins (34 by knockout), six losses, and one draw.
