Kely Nascimento’s father Pele has been in hospital since 31 August after he got diagnosed with a tumor in his colon. The tumor required surgery and the media outlets reported that the hospital shifted Pele to intensive care and then the hospital later informed them that he has been transferred to semi-intensive care. The shift to intensive and semi-intensive care had occurred due to Pele’s age as he is eighty years old as of now.
Pele is regarded as one of the best footballers to play the game and nailed 538 goals in 557 matches at club-level while netted 77 goals in 91 games for the Brazilian national team helping them to three FIFA World Cup wins. The Instagram message posted by his daughter is given below.
