West Indies’ spin-bowling allrounder Hayley Matthews has seen a steady rise in her rankings as she is now placed at the right spot in the One Day International All-Rounder’s list. It has been her bowling that has caused this uptick as the Windies allrounder has been able to pick up two or more wickets and concede under 4 runs an over regularly in the ODI cricket. She also had a couple of decent 40+ innings against Pakistan recently.
Meanwhile, Stefanie Taylor has made up to ninth place in the batters ranking. The stalwart batter has been in great touch lately, slamming a big hundred against Pakistan while also chipping in with some wickets during the canceled Women’s World Cup Qualifiers. These are huge gains for West Indies ahead of the next year’s ODI World Cup.
