Indonesia Open: Intanon defeats Sindhu to make Finals

Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon defeated PV Sindhu to make it to the finals of the BWF Indonesia Open. Sindhu claimed the first set 21-15 but that didn’t faze Intanon. She stormed back with a 21-9 second set and claimed the third set 21-14. This is the seventh time in 11 games that Intanon has defeated Sindhu.

On the other hand, An Seyoung defeated Ratchanok’s Thai compatriot Pornpawee Chochuwong to make it to the Finals. It was a close game and Seyoung won 21-19, 21-19. She will now meet Intanon in the Finals.
