2020 Tokyo Olympics host Japan added another gold to their tally as Kawai Yukako bagged the gold medal in women’s freestyle 62 kg. Yukako beat Aisuluu Tynybekova from Kyrgyzstan to win the medal.
Kawai and Tynybekova had a thrilling game as Yukako won by 4-3. The bronze medal went to Bulgaria’s Taybe Yusein as she beat Lyubov Ocharov in a dominant manner. Iryna Koliadenko also bagged the bronze medal in the competition.
