Lewis Hamilton tops the Turkish qualifying race, Bottas claims pole

British racer and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton continued his stellar form and finished at the top of the qualifying race. However, he will not take the pole position after receiving a ten-grid penalty for an engine change. Instead, Valtteri Bottas will start from the pole after coming in second place.

Hamilton finished the race in one hour 22.868. minutes while Bottas did so in one hour 22.998 minutes. Lewis’ rival Max Verstappen came in the third spot in a fantastic day for Mercedes. The main race of the Turkish Grand Prix is slated for a 12:00 PM UTC start tomorrow.
