Liverpool beat Burnley 2-0 as their offense and defense both clicked in a terrific performance. They went with a 1-0 lead at the half and then finished the business in the second half as Burnley failed to get off the mark throughout the game. Liverpool has won their first two games while Burnley has lost both of their fixtures.
The first goal of the game came at the eighteenth minute mark as Konstantinos Tsimikas crossed over and gave a lovely pass to Diogo Jota whose header put Liverpool up one-nil. Then in the Second Half, Trent Alexander-Arnold set Sadio Mane up for a goal with a through ball which Mane kicked from the center of the box to put Liverpool up 2-0 and in a dominating position.
