Match Update: West Indies women struggle after batting first

The second ODI between West Indies and South Africa is underway at Coolidge, at the home ground of West Indies. West Indies have lost two for 16 after 10 overs, once again struggling against South African bowling. Earlier, the T20 series got tied at one each while in the first ODI, South Africa thumped West Indies by eight wickets with more than 10 overs to play. West Indies continue to have a large hole without their best middle-order batter in Stefanie Taylor who has missed all games.

Opener Hayley Matthews has been the most underwhelming batter, bagging the scores of 8, 12, 7, 4, and in this match, got out to Kapp after making a paltry three runs. Kapp has removed Kyshona too who made just five runs off 30 balls. Right now Chedean Nation and Deandre Dottin are at the crease and will need to repair the innings going ahead.
