In an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, ACA Vice President Aslanbek Badaev discussed the termination of the contract with Mehdi Dakaev, who lost to Rasul Magomedov by decision in his most recent fight.

There was no scandal. He didn't say he was leaving for sure: 'I have the option to leave. What would be the league’s reaction to that?' This happened a little earlier than his defeat. If he had won, the league definitely wouldn’t have let him go. The league understood that he wasn't able to use his potential at this stage of his career. He couldn't return to his previous level
Recall that Mehdi Dakaev, 29, has achieved 15 wins and suffered four losses, holding a record of 2-2 in ACA. He previously competed in Eagle FC and was the organization's lightweight champion.
