Famous English UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett has assessed his chances in a potential bout against former interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje.
Paddy Pimblett quoted by the Red Corner MMA
I know for a fact that if I beat Gaethje, I'm next in line. It could be my next fight; it just depends if he says yes or no, because he's fighting down the ranking again. After what I've done to Chandler, I think I'll finish Justin Gaethje.
Pimblett last fought against Michael Chandler in April this year at UFC 314. That fight, which was stopped in the third round, ended with Paddy winning by technical knockout. His record stands at 23 wins and three losses.
Pimblett made his UFC debut in September 2021, facing Brazilian Luigi Vendramini. That match ended in a knockout victory for Paddy in the first round.
