Eleventh-ranked UFC lightweight Dan Hooker of Australia accused Islam Makhachev of using a saline drip before his fight with Alex Volkanovski on his social media accounts.

The Australian later added: "Prove me wrong. Islam is a cheat."
As a reminder, in 2015, USADA banned fighters from using saline drips to recover from weight loss. The decision was made because saline can mask the use of banned substances in pre- and post-fight testing.
The Makhachev vs. Volkanovski fight took place on February 12th in Perth, Australia. The fight ended with Islam winning by unanimous decision of the judges.
