Famous UFC fighter Bo Nickal found himself in a tough situation just days before his fight against former two-weight ONE champion Reinier de Ridder.
He posted a video on social media stepping on the scales, revealing he weighed 100.97 kg, while the acceptable weight limit for their upcoming bout is set at 83.9 kg. This means Nickal needs to shed around 17 kg before their match, scheduled for the night of May 4 at UFC on ESPN 67.
Nickal's last fight was against Paul Craig in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he won by unanimous decision after going the full distance. With seven wins and no losses, he is looking to maintain his perfect record.
De Ridder last entered the octagon to face Kevin Holland in January 2025 at UFC 311, where he secured a victory via submission in the first round. His professional record stands at 19 wins and two losses.
