Former UFC fighter Anthony Martin arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer

Former UFC fighter Anthony Martin, 33, was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer on December 21, 2022. This was reported by Bloody Elbow.

Martin was arrested but released from custody later that day on $5,000 bail. The fighter is scheduled to appear in court on February 22.

Martin competed in the UFC from 2014 to 2020. His last fight was against his compatriot Neil Magny at UFC 250. In that confrontation, Anthony was defeated by a unanimous decision of the judges.

Martin stepped into the octagon in November 2019 against Russian Ramazan Emeev at UFC Fight Night 163. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended with Anthony winning by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 18 wins and six losses on his record.
