Russian PFL fighter Alexandr Shabliy said in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net that he was not offered to replace the injured Jay Jay Wilson in his fight with Gadzhi Rabadanov.
Alexandr Shabliy exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I haven't gotten any calls. They have an alternate pairing in the tournament. The PFL insure every stage. But Wilson was the only fighter who could be competitive for Gadzhi. There's nobody even close to him in the Grand Prix right now. Even the pairing of Primus and Davis are not on this level. So I expect Rabadanov to make half a million dollars. I don't want to get involved in this story yet. We'll wait until the end of the season. Then we'll decide what to do.
Recall that the semifinals of the PFL Lightweight Grand Prix are scheduled for June 20 in Wichita (USA). Gadzhi Rabadanov was the winner of the PFL season last year, and Alexandr Shabliy was supposed to take part in this Grand Prix, but dropped out at the quarter-final stage due to an injury.
