On March 4 at UFC 285 in Las Vegas, heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane of France will clash with American Jon Jones. The vacant UFC heavyweight belt, vacated by Francis Ngannou, will be on the line.
In his last fight, UFC Fight Night 209, which took place in September 2022, the 32-year old Gane defeated Tai Tuivasa by TKO in the third round. He has 11 wins and one loss under his belt.
Jones, 35, faced Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 in February 2022. This confrontation went the full distance and ended with Jones winning by unanimous decision of the judges. Jones has 26 wins and one loss on his record.
