Jones expects fight against Miocic will be his last career fight

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones said on his social media that the fight against Stipe Miocic may be the last fight of his fighting career.

A fan asked Jones on his social media page: "So are you going to fight in July?"

Jon replied:

No. I think the UFC has other plans for us. How cool would it be to spend my retirement fight dominating the greatest heavyweight of all time, in my home state at Madison Square Garden?

Jones, 35, fought on March 5 at UFC 285 against Frenchman Ciryl Gane. In this confrontation, Jones won by choking in the first round and won the heavyweight championship belt. He has 27 wins and one defeat under his belt.

It was previously reported that Jones vs. Stipe Miocic, which was scheduled for July 8 at UFC 290, would be moved to the fall.
