Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has posted on social media about his experience being removed from a flight to the United States.
Earlier, Essentially Sports reported that before the flight, a flight attendant asked Khabib to move away from the emergency exit row because he could not clearly indicate whether he would be able to assist others in case of an emergency. Nurmagomedov refused to change his seat, prompting the flight attendant to call a supervisor, who then made him leave the plane.

Lady who comes to me with questions was very rude from the very beginning. Even though I speak very decent English and can understand everything and agreed to assist (in case of an emergency), she still insists on removing me from my seat. What was the base for that, racial, national or other one, I’m not sure. I did my best to stay calm and respectful, as you can see on the video.
Khabib last fought against American Justin Gaethje in October 2020 at UFC 254. Khabib won that match via technical submission. His professional record stands at 29 wins and no losses.
