UFC president Dana White says heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will sign a new contract and continue his career with the promotion, despite all the disagreements.

Dana White
I think we're headed in the right direction with Francis. Look, there's no doubt that Francis should be in the UFC and complete his legacy in the UFC. And we're close to sealing the deal.

Ngannou, 36, last entered the Octagon in January 2022 at UFC 270, defeating Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision. Last March, at UFC 260, he knocked out Stipe Miocic in the second round. Ngannou has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
