On December 7 in Las Vegas, USA, in the co-main event of the UFC 323 tournament, Alexandre Pantoja lost by technical knockout (arm injury) to Joshua Van.
Thus, Pantoja suffered the fastest loss of his career in just 26 seconds. Van became the first male UFC champion from Asia.
Pantoja won the flyweight championship belt by submission in the third round against Kai Kara-France at UFC 317 in June of this year. He holds a record of 30 wins and six losses.
Van won against Brandon Royval by unanimous decision in the main card of UFC 317. He has a record of 16 wins and two losses.
