Former UFC title challenger and current PFL fighter Taila Santos has received a six-month suspension from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) following a positive test for oxandrolone and clenbuterol, which was conducted on March 21 during the off-season.
According to a press release, oxandrolone and clenbuterol are classified as "non–Specified Substances in the class of Anabolic Agents, which are prohibited at all times under the PFL Anti-Doping Policy (ADP) and PFL Prohibited List”.
Santos was set to participate in the PFL Grand Prix but will now be eligible to return to the cage on September 21 after her suspension ends.
In her latest fight, which took place in November 2024 during the PFL season finale, Santos lost to Dakota Ditcheva by technical knockout in the second round. Taila's professional record stands at 22 wins and four losses.
