Former UFC lightweight title contender Arman Tsarukyan responded to Paddy Pimblett, who claimed that Arman’s fights are boring.
“I could talk about how you only fight senior citizens once a year, or how the UFC keeps giving you the easy road to that paper belt. But I’ll say just one thing: if you ever find the courage to step into the octagon with me, there’s only one outcome the one you fear the most, where everyone finally sees you’re a fraud,” Tsarukyan said.
You can keep running your mouth. Just make sure you’re not the one sh**ing your pants in January. Like I said, the only thing that matters is when the octagon door closes. I’ll be the one walking out with my hand raised and you’ll be the one getting helped out of the cage.
Pimblett will fight Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title on January 25 at UFC 324 in Las Vegas, USA.
Pimblett last stepped into the octagon against Michael Chandler in April of this year at UFC 314. That fight ended in Paddy's favor via technical knockout in the third round. He has a record of 23 wins and three losses.
Tsarukyan last fought Dan Hooker on November 22 in the main event of UFC Fight Night 265 in Doha, Qatar. That fight ended in Arman's favor via submission in the second round. He has a record of 23 wins and three losses.
