UFC CEO Dana White commented on reports that former heavyweight division champion Francis Ngannou is interested in returning to the promotion, and Jon Jones has already expressed a desire to fight him.

Jones last stepped into the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, defeating Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. He has 28 wins and one loss to his name. One fight has been ruled a no contest.
