Shavkat Rakhmonov's wife and son, who were injured in a car accident, have been hospitalized in a medical facility in the city of Shu. Tengri Sport reports this information citing the health department of the Jambyl region.

The Rakhmonovs have been admitted to the trauma unit with preliminary diagnoses of closed head injury and concussion.
The accident occurred on the morning of July 27 on the 299th kilometer of the Almaty - Yekaterinburg highway. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.
As a result of the incident, one female passenger died at the scene, while another passed away on the way to the hospital. Rakhmonov's wife and son are receiving care at the hospital, and their lives are not in danger.
