UFC Executive Director Dana White expressed his support for former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz's decision to retire from fighting and return to his role as a commentator.
Dana White
He’ll have a great career after his career. I’m blown away that he hung in there as long as he did. I mean, who’s been more injured than this guy? … I’m glad that he finally hung it up.
Dominick Cruz last entered the octagon in August 2022 at UFC on ESPN 41, where he lost to Marlon Vera by knockout in the fourth round. He made his UFC debut in July 2011, defeating Urijah Faber by unanimous decision. Cruz has a record of 24 wins and four losses.
