Ireland and Zimbabwe women are going to face each other in the second ODI. In the first match of the series, Zimbabwe overcame Ireland despite a tricky target of 254. In that match, Zimbabwe’s skipper Mary-Ann Musonda played a scintillating inning of 103 runs. Meanwhile, in Ireland’s effort, Laura Delany played a superb knock of 86 runs off just 81 deliveries.
Returnee Shauna Kavanaugh also played a decent inning of 31 for Ireland. Precious Marange clinched 2 wickets for 46 runs while also playing an innings of 27 runs off 23 balls in Zimbabwe’s effort. Cara Murray led the bowling effort for Ireland, clinching two wickets for 47 runs.
