18-Year-Old Swimmer McIntosh Sets Third World Record in Five Days

Canadian athlete Summer McIntosh set a new world record at a distance of 400 meters in medley swimming. This was reported by the International Federation of aquatic sports (World Aquatics).

At the national qualifying competition in Victoria, the 18-year-old swimmer showed a result of 4 minutes 23.65 seconds. This allowed her to beat her own achievement set on May 15, 2024, which was 4 minutes 24.38 seconds.

This is the third record Summer McIntosh has set in the last five days. She previously broke the world record in the 400-meter freestyle on June 7 and the 200-meter medley on June 9.

McIntosh is a three-time Olympic champion and four-time world championship winner.
