Nikolai Krasnikov, a 20-time ice racing world champion, passed away at the age of 40.
According to the Telegram channel SHOT, the accident took place around 3:00. Krasnikov’s vehicle entered oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with two trucks. The injuries he sustained were fatal.
Throughout his career, Krasnikov won the individual championship title eight times and was part of a team that clinched the world champion title twelve times. He also frequently claimed the Russian Cup.
