Norwegian Robert Johansson, the 2018 Olympic champion in ski jumping, has announced the end of his career amid a scandal involving violations in his countrymen's competition jumpsuits at the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim. This is reported by ESPN.
Although the 35-year-old Johansson himself was not initially involved in the incident, he, like the rest of the Norwegian team, has been suspended by the FIS for the final stages of the season.
During his career, Johansson won gold in the team event at the Pyeongchang Olympics and twice took bronze in individual events. He also has two World Championships golds in the team event - in 2018 and 2020.
