IOC allows men to compete in synchronized swimming group events at Paris Olympics

The International Olympic Committee has authorized men to compete in synchronized swimming groups at the Paris Olympics. According to the press service of the International Swimming Federation (FINA).
 
For the first time, male synchronized swimmers will be allowed to compete in group events at the 2024 Winter Olympics. According to the regulations, no more than two men may be registered for this event. The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris.
 
The inclusion of men in group events in synchronized swimming was approved by the technical congress of the International Swimming Federation in October 2022. Previously, synchronized swimmers could only take part in mixed pairs.
