The Liquipedia site updated the ranking table after Dota Pro Circuit 2023: Season 3.
Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators and Evil Geniuses were selected for The International 2023. The teams ranked high in the regional leagues and will play at The Bali Major 2023. Shopify Rebellion and Tundra Esports, who won The International 11, are the closest to a direct invite to TI.
It also became known that Xtreme Gaming, Thunder Awaken, Virtus.pro, Team SMG, Hokori and felt will not receive direct invitations to The International 2023. The teams, along with OG and Entity Gaming, will participate in open qualifiers.
Despite the data from Liquipedia, the developers of Dota 2 use their own rankings and keep all the calculations there. The company has not yet changed its list of invited teams.
The Bali Major will be held from June 29 to July 9. The 18 best teams in the world will fight for $500,000 in prize money and 3,500 DPC points.
After that, Valve will host TI12 in October of the same year and the championship will be held in Seattle, USA. The event will take place from October 14 to 29. The participants will draw at least $1.6 million in prize money. This amount will be getting bigger thanks to Battle Pass sales.
