McIntosh Sets Second World Record in Swimming in Three Days

Canadian swimmer and three-time 2024 Olympic champion Summer McIntosh set a new world record in the 200-meter medley.

In a national qualifier for the 2025 World Championships, she covered the distance in two minutes and 5.7 seconds. McIntosh broke the record of Hungary's Katinka Hosszu, who swam the distance in two minutes 06.12 seconds in 2015.

On Sunday, June 8, the Canadian swimmer broke the world record in the 400-meter freestyle.

The World Aquatics Championships in Singapore are scheduled from July 11 to August 3. The swimming competition will be held from July 27 to August 3.
