Paralympics: Asmahane Boudjadar guides Algeria to Gold

Algeria’s Asmahane Boudjadar came on top during the women's shot put F33. Fouzia El Kassiqui of Morocco won the silver medal while Maria Strong of Australia clinched a bronze for her nation. Joanna Oleksiuk, Leylane Moura, Sara Hamdi Masoud, Sara Ajneibi, Anthi Liagkou, and Zao Qian finished in the rankings from four-eight respectively.

Asmahane’s throw reached a distance of 7.10m, while Kassiqui’s attempt covered 6.72m and Strong lodged a distance of 6.63m. Joanna, Leylana, Sara, Sara, Anthi, Zao threw at distances of 6.40m, 5.61m, 5.42m, 5.33m, 5.25m, no mark respectively. Asmahane repeated as the Gold medalist. The F33 disability class athletes use wheelchair as they impairments in the limbs.
