Rafael Nadal eyes December return

Spanish tennis stalwart Rafael Nadal is planning for a December return in Abu Dhabi after missing the action most of the summer. Since his Semi-Finals loss in French Open, the Spaniard has been in action for two more games and a left-foot injury has kept him out. Nadal will use this comeback time to prepare for the Australian Open next year and will hope he is game-ready for the big tournament.

Rafael Nadal, Spanish tennis player
My plan is to play Abu Dhabi in December and then in a tournament before Australia and then the Australian Open. That's my goal. We're working hard to make it happen. The injury in my foot still needs to get a little better, but I'm already training almost an hour and a half a day so that's positive. I'm training, I'm feeling better. I'm back on the court.
