Russian Olympic Committee(ROC) has claimed an Olympic gold medal in women’s foil fencing. They beat the French team to claim the gold medal.
Earlier, France beat Italy in a close contest and barely made it to the Finals where they got beaten 45-34. On the other hand, Italy took some consolation by getting the bronze medal, toppling USA 45-23.
