Sophie Hahn claims Paralympic Gold in Women's 100M T38

Great Britain’s Sophie Hahn notched another Paralympic Gold in the 100M T38 category. Darian Faisury Jimenez Sanchez claimed a silver medal in a thrilling race as she finished just six-hundredths of a second short of Sophie, who finished the race in 12.43 seconds. Lindy Ave of Germany claimed bronze in the race.

On the other hand, Great Britain’s Thomas Young claimed Gold in men’s 100M T38 and created a personal best of 10.94 seconds, the first time going under 11 seconds. In that race, China’s Zhu Dening bagged a silver medal, while Australia’s Evan O’Hanlon ended up with a bronze. The T38 classification in Paralympics refers to athletes with cerebral palsy.
