Sri Lanka announces squad for Women's World Cup Qualifiers

With the important tournament of Women’s World Cup Qualifiers at the helm, Sri Lanka announced the squad. The team hasn’t played since the February-March window last year when the squad competed in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Nineteen-year-old batter Imesha Dulani and 19-year-old right arm wrist-spinner Sachini Nishala also carved out a space in the squad.

Sri Lanka squad: Udeshika Prabodhani, Achini Kulasuriya, Anushka Sanjeewani, Kavisha Dilhari, Imesha Dulani, Vishmi Gunaratne, Sachini Nisansala, Tharika Sewwandi, Chamari Atapattu (captain) Harshitha Madavi (vice-captain), Inoka Ranaweera, Nilakshi de Silva, Hasini Perera, Sugandika Kumari, Oshadi Ranasinghe, Ama Kanchana, Prasadani Weerakkody,

Reserves: Kawya Kavindi, Madushika Meththananda, Umesha Thimashini, Sathya Sandeepani, Lihini Apsara.
