Djokovic defeats Tsitsipas in three sets in Australian Open final

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open 2023.

Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece in the final. The meeting lasted three hours and ended with the victory of the 35-year-old Serb in three sets with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:4), 7:6 (7:5). Djokovic served seven aces, made three double faults and converted two break points out of five. Tsitsipas had 15 aces, three service errors and one break point out of three.

Djokovic won the Australian Open for the tenth time in his career.
