
Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner retained the top spot in the updated ATP rankings, published on Monday on the official website of the association.
The previous day, he lost to Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in the final of Roland Garros 2025, although he led 2-0 in sets and had three match balls. The match ended with Alcaraz winning 4:6, 6:7 (4:7), 6:4, 7:6 (7:3), 7:6 (10:2).
Alcaraz is second in the rankings, while Germany's Alexander Zverev is third.
Britain's Jack Draper moved up to fourth position, Novak Djokovic to fifth and Lorenzo Musetti to sixth.
